A Hampton Roads native, Laura has worked with the Dominion Capital Partners team since 2015. She loves helping clients think through their goals and develop a financial plan that gives them a sense of peace and security about the future. Laura began her career in global health, overseeing health workforce training programs throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She remains passionate about working with individuals to improve the communities where they live.
Laura is working towards her CFP and has her Series 7, 66, Life, Annuities & Health Insurance licenses. She earned an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Old Dominion University. She holds an MA in International Studies from Old Dominion University, as well as a BA in French and Communications from Roanoke College. Laura is a member of the Prospera Financial Women's Council, which seeks to promote female leadership in the financial advising industry. She also serves on the board of SAFE Surgery and Anesthesia for Everyone.
Outside of DCP, Laura enjoys distance running, renovating her old home, and corralling her three young boys.
