Laura is a Hampton Roads native who has been part of the Dominion Capital Partners team since 2015. She is passionate about helping clients clarify their goals and build financial plans that provide confidence, peace of mind, and long-term security.
Before transitioning into financial planning, Laura built a career in global health, managing health workforce training programs across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. That experience strengthened her commitment to helping individuals and communities thrive—a passion that continues to shape her work today.
Laura is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and holds Series 7, Series 66, Life, Annuities, and Health Insurance licenses. She earned an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Old Dominion University, where she also received her MA in International Studies. She holds a BA in French and Communications from Roanoke College.
She is an active member of both the Prospera Financial Women’s Council, which promotes female leadership in the financial advising profession, and the Prospera President’s Advisory Council, which helps shape strategic initiatives across the firm. Laura is also involved in the Norfolk community through her participation in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and the Westover Garden Club.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys distance running, renovating her historic home, and keeping up with her three energetic boys.
