
Bill brings over 30 years of deep financial service experience to Dominion Capital Partners, where he serves as a Wealth Management Consultant for both institutional and individual accounts.
Bill’s previous work experience includes exposure to both public accounting and venture capital. His professional career began with Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Certified Public Accountant, where he quickly progressed from staff to management. Bill continued his career as an associate with Jefferson Capital Partners, a private equity firm investing in growth financings, management buyouts and recapitalizations of rapidly growing companies, primarily in the consumer, business and health care industries. As an experienced professional, Bill founded Commonwealth Advisors, as entity that identifies capital for the historical preservation of properties throughout Virginia, and has raised over $400 million of equity for local developers.
Bill has served in the community with groups such as the Norfolk Downtown 100, Portsmouth’s Lefcoe Leadership Program, the James Madison University Hampton Roads Duke Club and the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital’s Southeastern Virginia Board. Bill’s main passion in serving resides with the children and families of St. Jude’s, keeping him active on the Board for over seven years while holding the positions of Vice President and President.
A graduate of James Madison University, Bill obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He continued his education at the College of William and Mary, earning his Masters in Business Administration.
A native of Surry, Virginia, Bill has called the city of Norfolk home for 20 years. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and participating in various community activities. He’s a big baseball fan and hopes the Los Angeles Dodgers will someday make it back to the World Series!
